Electrum Model E Stealth Series

The lightest 16mm paddle in the market. Great to battle out points in the net. Great spin, power and control. Definitely a top tier paddle.

This is hands down my favorite paddle of the five I have. Amazing at the net, very fast during firefights, whip-like. Also has enough power for hard drives. The edgeless design gives you that much more paddle to hit with. Highly recommend.

Pros:
Higher percentage of successful drop shots.
Much easier keeping my hard serves from going too long
Great hand speed and power in hand battles
Goood power in my overhead smashes
Accurate top spin passing shots
Easier to use for my two-handed backhand top spin shots

Cons:
Top spin forehand shots from the baseline takes more effort

Best Electrum paddle ever

Have been playing with CRBN 3X for quite a while however found the swingweight a bit heavy for me (119) and the paddle was very "poppy".
The Stealth brought me the lower swingweight (and overall weight) I wanted with the same form factor so I don't lose reach. The paddle I got was very light at 7.55oz so I did add a strip of lead tape sides at 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions. It weighs about 7.85 ounces now (still lighter than the CRBN paddle at 8.3) and the twistweight is improved also. Has very nice feel for drops and dinks, very good spin and plenty of put-away power. The edges get dinged up pretty easy so tape is essential, particularly at the top. It's slightly less forgiving of off-center hits than my CRBN but adding lead has helped that. Overall I am surprisingly happy with this paddle!

this review might sound just ok but the first e series paddle i bought i was so expressed with its been hard to empress me more i started with a z5 paddle 12 years ago and it was great to start with but after 3 or 4 years i tried a gearbox and hated it but because it cost $200 i tried to like it for about 2 years after seeing some very good local players using the E series that i had never heard of i did some research and saw collin johns using one and decided to try it well fell in love with it instantly the control phenomenal after awhile i bought another just to see if there was any difference and i didn't see any my old one still played as well as the new one witch was great a year or so later electrum lowered the price on some of there other paddles so i tried the E stealth it is very close to the fee of the E paddle it has a little more pop and a little more spin from a hard drive the at the net control is about the same wich was phenomenal already all in all really great paddle
